Mark received a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor, and in 2023 celebrates a varied 35 year career as artistic creator, educator and activist.
This year he has joined the RumRunners Tour, returns to haunt Scarehouse Windsor and will once again play the ultimate part of Santa Claus. This is his first turn with 4th Wall Music.
Notable theatre credits include the title role in the world premiere of Brebeuf’s Ghost by Daniel David Moses, and Car Men – a play in D at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Roles locally in True West for Breathe Art, American Buffalo and Glengarry Glen Ross with Post Productions, The Hobbit and The Doctor In Spite of Himself and especially The Rocky Horror Show by Korda Artistic Productions.
He has worked extensively with choreographer Gina Lori Riley in the development and touring of original productions, a 6 week Arctic tour, and her feature film Commedia Fantasia. Films by Gavin Michael Booth, Michael Stasko, Otto Buj and Christopher McNamara as well as singing with jazz ensemble Spectrum Chorus under Ian Smith are valued collaborations.
Mark directed Tooth of Crime by Sam Shepard, Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, The Picture of Dorian Gray adapted from the Oscar Wilde novel by Matthew St. Amand, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill starring Leslie McCurdy as Billie Holiday, and A Chorus Line…the best musical. Ever.
