Prolific Canadian singer songwriter Mike Hargreaves (he/him) has a lifetime of immersion in Classic Soul, R&B and popular music. Growing up a stone’s throw from the birthplace of Motown, Mike’s devotion to pushing the boundaries of independent music was first honed in projects Michou (singer, songwriter, guitarist) and The Walkervilles (bassist, back-up vocals, songwriter), before emerging as a solo artist in 2017. Hargreaves has worked with award winning producers in landmark studios across North America including Willie Nelson’s Arlyn Studios in Texas, charted in radio and reached #1 on Much More Music, and performed world-renowned festivals and stages including Massey Hall. Today he also serves as a founder and co-arbiter of Soul City Music Co-op.
