Canadian opera singer, Amelia Daigle has graced stages across North America and Europe with her rich, lyrical voice and expressiveness both as an actress and as a musician. In 2015 Amelia placed first among Canada’s most talented singers at the National Music Festival in Edmonton, Alberta where Miss Daigle was invited to perform at the Francis Winspear Centre for the closing ceremonies of the competition.

Other notable performances include the title role in Bizet’s Carmen with Opera Nuova and Abridged Opera (2014 & 2018), Cendrillon with the WSO at Willistead Manor (March 2019), Liu in Puccini’s, Turandot with Opera by Request (March 2020) and Esmeralda in Cardinal Music Production’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Kordazone Theatre (February & March 2022).

Amelia looks forward to a series of collaborations with classical guitar player, Daniel Turner performing Spanish Art Song and Jazz at various venues starting this Fall in addition to singing the lead role of Queen Monarch in the original Canadian work and premier of the opera, Flutter which will take place on Pelee Island and Kordazone Theatre (September 2022). Ms. Daigle will also be making her debut in the role of Adolfo Pirelli in the musical, Sweeney Todd with Cardinal Music Productions (November 2022).
