Artist Bio:

The Coffee House Combo has spent the past five years firmly establishing itself in Windsor’s music scene, performing for weddings, galas, festivals, and private events. Their weekly Sunday night jam session at Phog Lounge – awarded ‘Best Live Music Venue in Canada’ in 2009 by CBC – has quickly grown to become one of the top open jams in the city, hosting local legends and young up-and-coming jazz musicians from both Windsor and Detroit. Some recent notable performances include the St. Angela Merici Festival on Erie Street, The Island Unplugged Music Festival on Pelee Island, the Harvest Festival in Amherstburg, and the Mackenzie Hall Jazz Series.

As University-trained players, the members of CHC are all sought-after session musicians and regular fixtures in the Windsor music community, appearing often as members of numerous projects and theatrical productions. Collectively, CHC prides themselves on their versatility, with an ever-expanding repertoire spanning a variety of styles from swing-era standards to Motown, pop and soul. The group is currently working on its first feature recording, to be released in 2021.
